Summer 2009 Mission Trips

Dear Friends,
Mission Trip - Summer 2009
My wife and I want to share our summer mission trips with you. The Puerto Rico Deaf Ministries (PRDM) contacted us and asked us if we could lead their first Deaf Crusades, Deaf Leaders' Retreat and St. Croix Deaf Crusade, which we gladly did. There were two regional crusades (Eastern and Western regions) plus Deaf Leaders Retreat in Luquillo. Job spent one full month (June 24-July 23) in both Puerto Rico and St. Croix and he led all Deaf Crusades as well as the Deaf Leaders Retreat. Thank God for giving him the strength to complete the job that he was assigned to do. PTL!!!

During the crusades, the total attendance was 344. Out of 344, 13 Deaf people accepted Christ as Savior and 32 rededicated their lives to the Lord. Let us give thanks to God for what He did in all crusades. PTL!!! Please remember them in your prayers.

Upon arrival home on July 23, my wife and I drove to Southern Baptist Convention of the Deaf in Ridge Crest, NC to attend the one week convention for spiritual refreshment and inspiration. After this, Job preached in Concord, NC. On the way back home, we stayed in Maryland visiting our old friends for 3 nights. Thank God for our safe drive back home.

On August 21, Job flew to West Palm Beach, Florida to lead the South Florida Regional Deaf Ministry Conference on Evangelism training from August 21-23. There were 68 people (Deaf and hearing) attending. The theme was “Evangelism Is For Everyone.” On Sunday, Job preached and shared his testimony how the Lord changed his Muslim faith.

Mid-western Deaf marriage conference/retreat will be held in South Dakota on September 25-27. For more details,Mission Trip - Summer 2009 please email us at:CEAforChrist@yahoo.com.

The Deaf Women's Retreat will be held in Ridgecrest, NC on October 2-5. Bukola Ayantola and Linda Mackiolek from New England will attend. If you are interested in going, contact Dawn Barnes at Dawn@barnesdeafministries.org.

On a personal note, our second son, Benjamin was ordinated a Deacon at Friendship Baptist church on August 16. Also, he is expecting a baby boy on or about October 25, 2009. This will be our first grandson. We are both excited and are looking forward to it. God is soooo good!!! We will be in touch with you. Stay tuned and continue to pray for our ministry.

Thank you and God bless,
Job and Bukola Ayantola
